This site is a grassroots initiative documenting the names of Belarusian volunteers who gave their lives in the war against Russian aggression on Ukraine.
What we collect
The minimum for every record: call sign, full name, unit, date of death. Where more is known — year of birth, place of birth, circumstances of death, photo, biographical note, words from comrades — this is given on the hero’s individual page.
Sources
- Official communications of the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment and other Belarusian volunteer units within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Publications of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the General Staff of the AFU.
- Testimony from families and comrades of the fallen.
- Belarusian and Ukrainian media (with verification).
Principles
- Data is published only after cross-checking against several independent sources.
- No record is created without the family’s consent if the family asks for privacy.
- Photographs are published only with the family’s permission or from official unit communications.
- If you notice an error, write to us — we’ll fix it within a day.
